One League Only in 2007

Chris received the news today that he will be unable to ride in the Conference League next season because
his Premier average is too high. After a great 2006 in which he upped his Premier Average to almost five
points per meeting he now finds that success comes with a price tag. His average is just over the cut-off
point for riding in the lower division, so he will now concentrate solely on the higher division. He said
" It had to happen sometime and although it means less meetings and therefore less earnings, it does
mean that I can go full tilt in the Premier and push to get a squad place with an Elite League side. I can
also put more into grasstrack to get established both here and abroad."

More Sponsors Required

Now that the New Year is just around the corner, Chris is spending more and more time on the trail of new
sponsors. Last year he struggled to make ends meet and with only the Premier League to race in it means
that new sponsors are a must. Chris fully appreciates the pressures on companies to give sponsorship and
acknowledges that his success so far is as much down to the kindness of others over the years. However,
at this time he has only 3 confirmed backers for next year and must make every effort to secure more if he
is to continue his excellent progress in the sport.

Chris a 2007 Islander

After talks with Promoter Dave Pavitt, Chris has agreed terms to again line up for the Wightlink Islanders
next season. He said " I really wanted to come back this year. Isle of Wight is my home track and I feel
at home there. The supporters are great and I feel that I can continue to improve and push to get into the
top five in the team. I am also looking to see someone else presented with the R. Suppards cup at the
end of the year !"

Chris would like to thank all his sponsors and friends in speedway for a great year and to wish everyone

Merry Christmas and a Happy, Prosperous, and Winning New Year!
